Privacy policy

What we collect

For artists: the name, email address, location, biography, links and artworks you choose to publish, plus subscription and billing status from our payment provider. We never store card details.

For buyers: the name, email address, optional phone number and message you send through an enquiry form. We also store a non-reversible hash of your IP address to prevent spam.

How we use it

Enquiries are forwarded to the artist you wrote to, with a copy to your own email address. Artist data is used to publish the public profile and to manage the subscription. We use aggregated, anonymous analytics to understand how the site is used.

Sharing

We share data only with the services needed to run Vernario: our hosting and database provider, our payment provider and our email provider. We never sell personal data.

Retention

Enquiries are kept while they are relevant to the artist. When an artist ends their subscription and profile, the profile is hidden immediately and remaining data is deleted after 90 days.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@vernario.com.
